Is it just a case of swapping flywheels over and the F15 will bolt on:confused:

Why don't you want to use an F16/F20? To save money not buying driveshafts?

as above, please dont waste more money and time that it would to just get some 22 spline shafts than to gypo on a small block gearbox.

Its the top of the list of the most common things people do wrong when fitting 2lt's, up there with 60mm G-max lowering springs on standard suspension.

Also far as im aware you need to space the box away from the block with washers, thats how bad an idea it is.

get the shafts, for the cost of them, circa 100-250 depending onw hat ones you go for, its loads les hassle and the f16/f20's are much more robust than the small block boxes.

No you need an o/s mount and a gearbox spacer, why not buy the complete xe fitting kit?

Think I will mate, but just wondered if the mounts I have would be any use.:thumb:

as phill says, you only need to space the engine away from the gearbox to fit, and obvously use the small block clutch plate...
