are the only differences the front wings and bumpers and lights

as I'm thinking about buying a mk2 and making it look like a retro GTE

also the grill and is it right the rear arches are bigger on the mk2

The lip is narrower on a mk2's rear arch but thats being picky, most are rotted & rolled or replaced by now anyway.

I made this a while ago to prove to my friend that mk1 novas look better than mk2's.

A standard mk2 SR looks like any other standard mk2 bar the alloys before anyone says it and a standard mk1 SR stands out from the other mk1.

SR/SRi was the only Mk2 to carry side vinyl ;)

arches are the same
no the mk2 had i think 5 mm wider arches :p

And the locks on the doors are diffrent aswell. its a few mm left or right on the mk2

early mk1 has no side reapeaters and a completely different boot. the door check straps are welded on a mk2 wheras they unbolt on a mk1. mounting points for the bumpers are slightly different between mk1 and mk2. bonnets are different but externaly the same, some have badge recceses some dont.

Thats more to do with vauxhall factory tolerances tbh.

Interior is all different too :p

Never seen a Nova bonnet with a badge recess.

Ive seen a few, think there on base models if im right, dont "quote" me thou lol
