inlet and carb compatability

im after an inlet to stick a pierburg 2e on my 1.2 - will the 1.3sr inlet take the carb or do i need an adapter plate to fit it. while im here, whats the actual difference between the 1.2 and 1.3 inlets, no one ever sais anything about the 1.2 inlet.. is it that crap.

edit: oh also will a 32/34 weber fit that 1.3 inlet aswell, or does that also need an adapter plate, just wondering for a future upgrade, as i hear there alot better than the pierburg 2e.

They're the same and IIRC a straight fit to the 2e. A Cav 1600 Carb and inlet is the same as well and available for about a tenner complete.

so the 1.2 and 1.3 inlet manifolds are the same... and i can put a pierburg 2e on my 1.2 manifold with no adapter plate ?
