Ive just bought a magnex back box off ebay the lad said its pick up only but i asked him if i bid and won could he post it to me. he said yes , so i bid and won it for £30, he gets back to me and said that the postage is £30 :eek: i bought an exhaust system that other week and payed £20 and thats much heavier and bigger than a back box. i told him this and he said its £20:70 plus stuff to wrap it in and he's blunt as f##k deffo getten bad feed backlol is this the RIGHT PRICE if any one can tell me please because i havent payed as of yet.

Its the right price if hes using a courier that charges that yes.
You can send a backbox on a 1-2 courier service for £8 though with DHL

i paid £13 to post a cyclinder head. Cant see a back box weight much more??

BTW, eBays changed now and sellers cant leave negative feedback so you havent got to worry about that :thumb:

well thats what i though because ive sold a 1.4 head before and other stuff thats been heavier and ive never payed £30

when i bought my back box, it was sent via royal mail and on the label it was less than £10.

but royal mail have changed their pricing recently haven't they?

Maybe he was going to send it in a taxi to you, ask if you can send your own courior to collect it, that is far to expensive

Ask the chap if he's willing for you to arrange a courier yourself. TBH all he'd have to do is whap an address label on it - burgo just stuck my address on a Mk2 saloon bumper and parcel farce still delivered it.
