Does it need to be the 'SR' style wheel or can it be the normal type ?

Probably of no use on a Sport, but I have a set of 5 Pirelli P4 tyres 145/70/13, 18,000 miles on them and spare unued, you can have them for the postage price if they are of any use?

I have some 14"s that pattern...

try early mk3 astras, they had 13's in that pattern usually in black, facelift versions went on to et44 so they won't fit....

I thought Sports were basically Swing shells and running gear, the pics at the begining of this thread are from Joe's original Sport :confused:

I'm stuggling to find 5J's so 5.5J's will be a nightmare to get hold of :cry:

Correct... but with some revisions.

to be honest the sport is based more on an early SR in respect to the engine/suspension/interior ect. swings were never available withthe daytona check thats in the sports/sr's...

i have an original swing brochure here from when my sr was bought new (in 84) and it states the swing has 4.1/2jx13 wheels.

but the problem is were they actualy all speced with 5j wheels? could have even been different as the brochure isnt exactly accurate anyway. like the brakes were never 9.3".

i'd say SRs and swings are 4.5 looking at that CK says his SR ones are 4.5 and sports will be 5

The only wheels listed in 5 and a half j on epc are for the astra. My gl steels were originally 4 and a half j, I'm with mark on this one.

Here (http://www.vauxhall-car-parts.co.uk/acatalog/Nova-Wheels.html) but ive just checked and they must have sold the last of the stock as i had a 5J as a spare not so long ago!!
