Oh, it's not that expensive. Buy them, chop the-up-to-fit, make some molds before you fit them, and sell copies. Like Kingdom with their Type-K kit (Wings West Aggressor Civic kits, modified to fit).

my mates got a pair designed for a celica.

They are cheaper than that, come from kits for car I think. Check there website.
