on my C20XE there are 2 pipes that come from the inlet under the trottle body. they are moulded together and both run to the drivers side where one pipe rejoins the inlet manifold.
my question is, where does the other pipe connect to?
goes to the header tank, on cally's cavs etc you have 2 retunrs, on novas you only have one, so what youve got to do is join that to a nice length of hose and then t into the return that goes from the rad return to the header tank. IIRC its is 8mm pipe.

so in theory, i could just blank this off?
no. it takes 2 mins to do, and costs under a tenner all in new bits.

ok ill stop being lazylol
I don't see the point in those hoses going to that union on the throttle body, I've had it plumbed in in the past put when it goes back togther now i'm just gonna run a hose from the inlet manifold straight to the header tank.
Unless someone could give me a good reason not to !?!?!
rich if it were me i'd do the same, well i allways do this tbh. we dont need the heater pipes on the throttle body. its to help stop the throttle body freezing over in cold countries. doubt that will happen here tbh.
