hi ive had this problem lingering over me for ages now and its time its got to be sorted as its the last thing that has got to be done before the car is on the road,

what i need help with it boost pipes i have aluminium tubing already, its going to be cut to shape in a week or so but i have no way of welding it and there is no company near me who can do it either, is anybody on here able to help with the welding as i no it takes experience to weld aluminium (no offence but i would prefere someone who actually knows what they are doing) the reason i am going down the route of using aluminium tubes is because i have a c16xe engine that has a courtney turbo conversion on it and its in a nova so im not going to find anything already made to help me i live in welling area code is da16 so if anyone is able to help and not like 400miles away i would be greatfull for your help and i dont expect anyone to do it for nothing either message me on here or pm me if you can help.

thanks ryan

go & find your yellow pages & look up metalworkers & fabricators.

I do not believe for a second that there is any need to travel more than 5 miles within greater london to find someone suitable.

don't think that you MUST go to a tuners to get some ally tube cut & bent, because all they do is sub it out to a local metalworker then stick some ridiculous markup on

i fink you would be quite suprised as i have approached metalworkers & fabricators but all they say is they do not have the time to do one off fabrications, so bacically unless you can get it done through a smaller company they wont take any work on from you, its pathetic because i approached a company that appears to be dedicated to one off fabrications i think they are called allyart well anyway (thats how they got their reputation) but now they have got big in size they only do work for bigger companys and not just your average joe (like me). If i could do it a simple way i would have already have it done but its just not that easy as much as you would believe it was but thanks for your help anyway. ryan

just use silicone adapters and bends
save cutting/welding

You can't get 60, but you can get others - have a look here (http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?cPath=147)

Aluminium welding is like an art lol a TiG with ally rods and a coded welder should do it though.

go to your nearest Truck main dealer (scania, volvo, daf etc) ask in the workshop who they use for ally welding. trust me, they all have a contact for ally welding to repair tippers & bodywork, offer him some cash.
ally pipe is fairly easy to get.
have you thought of using stainless steel????

Wouldnt powerflow etc do it if you went in and asked?
