View Full Version : This film contains...
This really makes me laugh and is such a load a W A N K!
Everytime a film trailer appears on telly or in the cinema theyve started adding these little captions warning you of the content"
WHY?!?
Harry Potter got me - "contains mild fantasy horror"
WTF is that supposed to mean. Of course it does - its a fantasy about a fecking wizard!
Then theres the new Hancock film - "contains sustained peril"
I have NEVER heard such B0LL0X in my entire life! WTF is sustained peril! I find sustained peril whenever I go for a sh1te but dont broadcast it to everyone! (well actually i do but thats another story)
PLEASE - list more so we can all wonder at what total retard MORON in America felt it necessary to sue a film company because they decided the rating wasnt adequate!
(this thread contain mild abuse, voilence and general idiocy!)

i remember watchinng **** in the woods 5 and it said this video is not suitable for viewers who have problems with flashing lights
so unlucky for those gay epilectics
Warning labels are just ghey in general, i quote lee evans on this one saying why do we have them as ya grandad never needed them, and his generation ate anything put in front of them, and smoked roll-your-own uranium rods lol!
Not the same as film classification but similar sorta thing, i always get annoyed when you see "drink aware" or "drink in moderation" or "drink responsibly" on beer adverts grrr i do drink responsibly, i never spill it and dont give it to anyone other than me as i know im old enough to drink lol!
Oh and the one that really made me laugh was when my brother pointed out that a bollte of milk he was drinking actually said on it "allergy advice, contains milk"
All i could think was its a funking bottle of milk how stupid can you get!!!!!
I bought a cheap tool kit the other day, and the stanley knife had a lable on it that said 'Caution, knives are designed to be sharp'.
I sh!t you not! I couldnt believe my eyes!
Ive also been to many a hotel where the hairdryer has a lable on it saying 'Warning, do not use in the shower'. I mean what fecking moron tries drying their hair while theyre actually having a shower????
The thing that gets me most about stuff like that is that modern RCD's and breakers wont allow you to get electrocuted even if you DID get in the shower with it! In the olden days when the fusewire would hold out just long enough for you to bake your lower intestines, they relied on peoples common sense not to do it.
Packs of nuts have warnings that they contain nuts lol

i do drink responsibly, i never spill it
LMFAO lol
I go with Phil's idea of taking the warning labels off everything and letting the problem sort itself out.
and you wonder why we live in a sheltered cotton wool society!
I blame the Yanks - theyre "Sue anything" culture has caused so many problems over here. I mean there was the guy who successfully sued some "winabago" manufactured because she thought the cruise control button drove the camper automatically. Gets up out of the seat to make a coffee on a busy "freeway" and crashes!
FECKIN IDIOT!
The people who need to be told EVERYTHING should be analysed for intelligence before being locked up in a Big Brother style house full of everyday things like chainsaws and petrol and matches but all the labels and instructions are removed...
Last man standing!
Caution may contain extreme pain and death.

that pack of nuts is slightly out of date there Dar lol
Why do some packets of ciggaretes say, 'smoking is highly addictive, don't start'?
Surely if you have bought the fags you are smoking already? lol
Nah,they're hoping people will buy the packet, read the warning and then decide that yes, smoking is evil and they shouldn't do it, and throw the packet away.
That way, the government still gets your taxes, and I still get my wages. Win!

Because then the kids who see their parents cigarettes sat on the arm of the sofa see this, and heed the warning and dont put themselves in an early grave having spent a couple of decades sucking all the money out of the NHS.
