Im laid up in bed again after an operation last week. Last time this happened i planned to get my red nova back on the road with a turbo engine on omex management! I got that done while i was mobile again, made it to PV, but no im on stop for a couple of weeks again!
Would like some advice and ideas on what to do with 3 Novas i have left!
1) 1983, mint shell (no rust) 1.0 in bronze 3dr hatch.
2) 1992 GSi Silk Violet, 2.0 XE Mtec shafts and hubs btb 2.25" exhaust and manifold V6 front brakes
3) Pink Nova Turbo Courtney H16 VTB, Minus LET and Speedlines!
I have mountains of parts, the pink ones a rolling shell, the 1.0 is a complete car, and the GSi starts and runs, just needs ecu mounting and coolant pipes etc! I have nice spares like a F20 with a quaife diff, 16" grey softstars, disk rear beam! I have full black cavalier turbo leather perfect for a nova, sound system all made to fit a nova! gsi dash's, monterey vents etc..
I had thought about making the silk violet nova for track use,std xe with f20 and quaife diff, good suspension, brakes and cage! but then i think maybe i should stick the 2.0 16v from the grey one into the pink one, cage it and bin the leather interior and keep that for track!?
The 1983 shell i planned a long term project on, i have a big spec xe engine which will be looking for a new home. fancied building a pukka spec track machine over time, wide track, sccr box, xe should be 260bhp +! that wont be a road car due to a twin plate clutch!
If anyone has thoughts about what i should do with them all please let me know! Ive also got a mk3 astra turbo which is about to give its f28 and quaift diff up for my red nova, a mk3 cabriolet and poss a supertouring vectra in the very near future!
