right got a quick question i need answering in about half an hour.

can you think of two occasions where you notice a driver who is not paying attention to their driving, and / or their reaction has not been quick enough. what do you think could have distracted the driver?

no i need you to think of a time youve been following someone and they've done/not done something they should/shouldnt have and why you think they did it

That's bollocks man. When you're a passenger you just don't pay as much attention, obviously. Especially on long mway journeys say.
I would just say you have seen cars not keeping to lanes then when overtaken them notcied the driver on phone/eating/applying makeup lol
Or maybe someone doing the above but when you passed them they looked like the were struggling to stay awake.
Driving in the middle/outside lane is another - they can't be paying attention because they don't seem to notice everyone having to undertake them. Or maybe they are just ****holes lol

Thats a daft question. Anything can distract anyone! Admittedly you could/should be aware of distractions - i.e. when going past an accident I give myself extra room and keep one eye on the person behind me in case they're rubber necking. Actually, there you go, there's one example for you lol

Or driver in front on a motorway not using his indicators and sitting in the middle/outside lane. Cause = BMW driver lol

Drivers who don't notice the queue of cars in front are braking heavily and as a result either rear end them or have a very close shave.
Rubber necking is a great one "Look at that idiot facing the wrong way upside down! How do you manage that?" *Eyes back on road* Oh noes corner/slow or stationary traffic/trucks 'overtaking'/traffic joining from slip road etc.
Not enough time (and sense) to react and you know the rest lol

oow i get it! Business man in his A6 approaching a roundabout in the right lane myself and friend in left lane to go ahead, half way round i look to the right to see the A6 tryin to squeeeze it and he floored it to get infront to leave the roundabout, as his speed was obviosly higher when he squeezed in the had to slam on his breaks but we was only a meter at most behind him, 998 mini breaks vs 07 Audi ill leave to to guess what happened.

Man gets out and eplains he knows hes in the wrong and wasnt thinking, agreed to pay for damaged, also he had his kids in the back!

Told us he was running late and had to drop them off before meeting his net client. hope that helps mate.

How about them ignoring traffic lights/crossings when you have right of way mate?

Driver getting head from passenger. That could be pretty distracting.

Sounds like you have to be a bit creative on what you have actually 'seen' then mate. Think of it as typing out your C.V lol

Drivers getting bored going soooo sloooowww on duel carriage ways that are 30mph zones just because one house is on the road somewhere, know one knows where!.... that they start looking around at the scenery and not at the road ahead, or just nodding off.

jumping a red/amber light....and because the thought of rushing home to his wifes moist mott meant his little head was distracting big head.

^^ Good point

But a pedestrian could also not pay attention and just walk out infront of somone.
