Radioless Nova

The joys of owning an early base model nova leaves me with the problem of having no radio to listen too and 700miles to drive this wknd..

For pv i had a portable radio with me, it done the job fine but was bulky..

anyone have any alternatives for me to use?

I will not be fitting a head unit tho.. keeping her original!!

lol I used to use my phone in Original Saloon before I got round to fitting the head unit (which now lives in the Celica :D)

That had a crap music player on it though. It used to keep playing ringtones LOL

not a bad idea,we leave first thing in morning so no time to do it now, I wired up a ciggy lighter in there for the sat nav,

Never had a radio in mine either, **** all on the radio imo....just listen to those carbs sing for you!

I had a blanking plate in mine (where I moved the window switches too) and installed the HU in the glovebox too. Nice and neat :)

I find myself doing countless miles in my track nova... Either engine tune or ipod when its gets late a sleepy lol

i have the original radio lol philips casette player thing :D

play the Mini Golf game. first person to see a mini shouts 'MINI' then the next one to see a golf shouts 'GOLF' etc.... it has kept my three kids busy for a whole 3 1/2 hr road trip

I want a radio to listen too yes but i wanna keep her original with the blanking plate.. Think ill do what some of the others have and wire one into the parcel shlf for show season next year... Good old trusted(but bulky) wireless will do me for this years billing trip :-)
