im removing the roof lining in my sport so i can sort it all out properly.

how have people removed and re-fitted their interior handles in the past?

the white pins are very hard to get out and get damaged when poping them out. whats the easiest way to get the handles off without damaging them or the pins? are new pins available at all?

please help lol

You have to replace the pins iirc
No other way of removing them.

Not sure if there still available

lol I can't help. I was short on tools that day so persuaded them off with a mash hammer.

Mine ended up in about 30 pieces lol

You may be able to pop them through with minimal damage if you used a punch which was the exact size... but the handles are still a ballache to get out eve once the pins are loose (or in my case, somewhere in the head lining lol)

hmm, im gonna give it a go lol. ive prised one of the pins out for the sun visor with a flat head but has squished the head of the pin a little:( ill try a punch and see if a can physicaly push them right through. if there not available im sure i can get some white nylon rod and turn it down in the lathe to make a load of new pins up in the same dimensions. boring but it will have to be done lol.

cheers
