Such a top night, went with about 30 other cruisers, including a Beemer M3, TVR Tuscan, Escort Cabroilet as featured on the front of Maxpower and lots of other very nice cars. We went on the euro tunnel as it was only ?17 return. (Congrats to Chip for being the first to Burnout on the train!)

Revs followed us down there (expect a feature in Jan issue - possibly with a video) Some funny driving over here in England before France but thats another story...

Upon arriving in france we took a trip to a hypermarket and mcdonalds, we all parked up. Spang in his AC Schnitzer M3 started off the antics by doing a donut in the carpark and then Sixspeed from cruise south followed suit with his TVR Tuscan S. The locals couldnt believe it, they all came running out of their flats to come and talk to us! There must have been at least 100 French people looking at all the cars etc A few of them spoke a little English so they let us follow them to the sea front (Calais)

We all convoyed there following this guy and all the lads on the mopeds were riding along side us with there hazard lights on and stopping all the traffic!!! Such a funny sight!

Upon arriving down the seafront... a few donuts later we all parked up, there were quite a few french modded motors there.

There was a nova "mid mod" completely custom bumpers being fabricated by the owner himself, he had Seat Ibiza headlights, gonna be a top motor when hes done! The owner couldnt believe when Chop opened up the bonnet of his car (2.0 16v on tbs) The French are not alloowed to do engine transplants or tune their engines so the guy was nearly cumming in his pants! Ha Ha

The roads in france are so much better than the UK, some highly illegal driving went on including a 180mph by one car (I think, cant remember the exact speed, im sure you can guess which car it was)

Overall top quality night and is trying to be arranged for the Last saturday of every month...

Pictures will be on http://www.cruisequest.co.uk soon... Next time i will be taking a digi cam with me so expect a full report on here 8)

Micky!!! Wot u mean its not the same as coming up to Scotland!!!

The roads up here are EMPTY! - speeding donut heaven!!!

U've only got to get north of Glasgow and your in the middle of nowhere in some of the most stunning scenery (perfect photo shoot material) - theres only 1 police man per 1,000,000,000 acres (Hamish McBeth is based on fact)!

There are similarities too with the French -

1 - Scots eat strange sh1t too
2 - No one can understand a word we say

Breeny - wot the french polizei like to modders?

Sounds quality.

The French are capable of building some good motors, in most cases they stick to their own though, pug, citroen etc.

From what i've seen anyway.

Ive organised the next one for the last saturday in october.
See this thread on cruiseboard to save me typing it all in again:

Was a top night, my nova (tatty old piece of crap) drew more attention for the crowds than the tvr or the M3, they just simply couldnt believe we are allowed to put different engines in our cars, an air filter is an impressive performance mod in france, LOL!!!

Be good to get a few more novas on the next one.

Just been and got some new cheapy tyres of my valver today as its practically on slicks now.

Keep an eyeout for the black lines next time you are on the 'low vehicles' train going through the tunnel!

Even the tunnel ride over was a good laugh, with the boot open on one car providing the tunes to keep our carriage pumping away so we couldnt hear all the safety announcements etc, LOL!
