Enigine Mount 2L 16V

Hi,

In the prosses of rebuilding a nova with a xe engine. Went to fit the strengthing ptate around the drivers engine mount and wouldn't fit!
Had a look at photos on here last night and my mount has been welded a inch or so lower to the car (chassis leg)????? I'll try get some photos tonight.

Any advice or photos of were it should be would be great:thumb:

yes more than likely using the old style TAS mounts where you had to lower the mount by 25-35mm.

Arh right i see. Thanks. Would you say there is any advantage or diss advantage to this? Might as well relocate it as one of the welds has cracked but just intrested?

no difference really - just different ways of doing the conversion

if you move it back to its original place, you'll need to by a conversion mount though
