Hi

It was the 4th round of Time Attack last Saturday at Oulton Park.
As the track is fairly local i took a trip accross to see what 800+bhp and a wet track is like to watch.
Some snaps of the day attached.

The day was won by the white Roger Clark Motorsport Scooby, 2nd was the green Zen Scooby, 3rd was the Elise.
Most impressive was the fact that they are road legal on legal Toyo R888 tires and the winner lapped 3 secs a lap quicker than the BTCC cars on full slicks.

Took loads of pics.
Didnt realise i could only post 15 at a time!!

The Roger Clark Scooby as no doubt alot of others like RC's green evo, Norris designs 3 door evo (when its back on road after its longitudinal engine conversion!!) are reported to be well into 3 figure price tags!!

Crackin day.
Well worth poppin in to take a look if its at a track near anybody again.
Just imagine a track day where every car has in excess of 500bhp probably and alot of the tuners are now hiring ex touring car drivers!
Phil Bennett was fastest qualifier in the white/green Subaru.

Just watching that on track made the trip worth while.
Lokking forward to seeing it again at the end of the month at Elvington TOTB.
Attention to detail on the car, its like concors quality but he aint shy when it comes to driving it!!

Its defo the "in" scene world wide. I should think the money involved makes most other forms of motorsport look a bit sick.
The last track day at rockingham we were at featured a couple of Bimmers set -up for the job having a ball and not at all slow. To do it properly you've got to have good track speed and lap times. They were very nicely prepared with a lot of time and money spent on them and high quality drivers

Nice pics! Looks like you were able to get up close and personal with the cars, which is always a bonus! I'll have to pop along and see one of the rounds :thumb:

The R35 GTR was driven in club class by Clive Seddon (RC yellow Evo also in pics)
Bog standard except Toyo R888 tires
Cant remember what times it was doing. Looked at bit tame after watching the other cars on track.

Only restriction on access was the pit wall. Got kicked of for not having a wrist band on. Not much to see from there anyway so no real loss.

I've seen the yellow/green dayglow Evo go and its absolutely amazing. Its lives on an industrial estate where my mate has a unit and its regularly tested on there. Unbelievable
