Hi guys i am trying to fit some bucket seats in my nova mk1
I need to know how to fit them i have universal sub frames.
This is my idea grind the orignal metal frames out and make some sort of little frame i.e. a square then bolt the frames to that and to the floor
Has anyone done this need a pretty fast answer aswell guys
Thanks

Anyone???
Post up pics of the underside of your seats mate. This should help.
Also, take a look in the Projects threads as they're all done in there all the time.

Right, what the lads in here do is get some box Iron (25mm should safice but 40mm would be better)
Remove the origional brackets from the floor and fit these in place. Line them up and weld them in Level. Then simply drill and bolt your sub frames in.
Hope I'm making this clear. If you want I'll try and get a few Pics up.

just like Dod says, use box section steel tubing, weld from sill to centre and from centre to sill. here's mine, pics are really really poor, as i dont have any without the seats in. i have one on my phone but thats it.
