my front chassis rails have started to rot were they meet

i guess i will have to use some thick plate to repair them how thick does the plate have to be

does anyone have any pics of any that have bee plated

Just plate over it.1-1.5mm should be fine, i did my dads corsa rails(both sides) with 1.2mm iirc, and they passed mot fine.

Use 1.6mm for strength, will be no problem

i have some pug205 chassis rail i plan to use

does anyone have any pics of theirs done

Just trim out the bad bits and plate over with 1 or 1.2mm, that should be enough for it. Mine were actually like that underneath all the seam sealer that I forced in through the holes!
