CLITHEROE CANCELLATION

after a meeting with police on friday we have been asked to cancel clitheroe 2 because we do not meet strict safety guidelines.

We at cruisetime ltd, feel that cruising needs to be recognised to make it safer but in order to represent this opinion i need a show of hands in support. The police will not deal with us if we only represent ourselves.

If you support the fact that cruisetime work to make cruises safer please post a message after this.

They shouldn't be saying no to organised cruises. If they say you don't meet safety regulations they should be helping you to sort those problems out. I think their confusing cruisers with the people who like to race through council estates. By the sounds of it the only problem last time was capacity. There was probably one or two people who couldn't get in, acted stupidly,got caught and ruined the whole concept.
