turbo feed?

hi got a c20let in me nova was just wondering if anyone knew where the water feed on top of the turbo should go to?

one of the water pipes from the turbo goes to the small pipe on the rad and the other pipe on the turbo goes to the header tank. you will have to get a T-piece to attatch it to the small pipe on the header tank along with the pipe that comes from the inlet..

The turbo is fed from the outlet on the radiator that normally goes to the header tank, the ouput side of the turbo then returns to the header tank.

That is how vauxhall plumbed it in on a Cav/cally.

ok thanks the pipe above pictured does not go anywhere and the other is alreadi attached to the plastic pipe that goes round the back of the engine is this correct?

no, deffinatly wrong id say lol.

regarding all small coolant hoses.

you will have 1 small coolant hose on the left hand side of the inlet manifold (nxt to altenator) this loops under the inlet connecting the centre of the inlet (below throttle body) it then come back out next to it and this pipe then connects to the coolcant header tank.

you will then have 1 small pipe coming out the top of the radiator, this connects to one side of the turbo, then the pipe on the opposite side of the turbo will then go to the header tank aswell. on a nova which has 2 outlets, you can put a T-piece onto the small outlet giving you a place to put both of the smaller coolant hoses.

the plastc water rail on the back of the engine shoudl normaly have 2 outlets. one outlet goes to the bottom of the coolant header tank, the remaining outlet wll then go the the left pipe of the heater matrix.

there will be 1 remaning pipe which is on the side of the head below the distributor, this pipe goes to the right hand heater matrix pipe.
