J.W.Benson Watches. Need some info.

Found a J.W.BENSON Wrist\/\/atch of my dads in the house which i didn't know he had and in 18 years i had never seen.

It is still in the original wallet and looks to be made of gold.

I have searched google and can't seem to find out anything about them and can't find the 1 my dad has.

Does anyone on here know anything about them?

I can supply a pic if needed, the watch face has a number on it if it means anything i think it was 22499.

Looks to be antique.

go round to 2 different jewellers in town, & I don't mean a gipsy trinket peddler like H Samuels, I mean a proper independent place. get 2 different valuations, cos I might be lying to get a bargain.
