sub in spare wheel

has anyone put a sub in the space where the spare wheel goes before ??????? is there enough room takin in acount the false floor ??????? :wink:

Hi - To be honest it's been thought about a lot. Still not all thoughts are good... There's just too much resenencefrom the metalwork of the wheelwell. I guess if you spent enough time lineing it with self adhesive pads it might work. Calculate the size of box required and that should then lead you on to the height of the false floor, remember that the size of the box doesn't matter with subs very much but ported or sealed does.

have a spare wheel well sub in my nova - sounds ok but the bugger is you have to watch out what you put in the boot or its bye bye sub...


It is a solid as fuck fibre glass tub woth a wooden top to which the subs fixed.
