Can't really tell from here :(

all sorts, rear legs finished it off, 3 years, 2 sills, 2 rear arches, rear panel, numerous patches to the boot and front floors.

And to think it all looked like this at PV 2006,

Ive always like this car, when i used to own a red mk1 i wanted it to look like this (even cut the holes in the bumper for lights lol) will be a shame to see it go i spose. New project?

You didn't even remove the rear lights?

Rear lenses were cracked, tbh I don't know how they got through the last mot.

No new project for a long while, apart from boring running-repairs to the vectra.

the stuff in the back?

Bonnet and wings were rusty and dented, Rad was blocked, exhaust had been welded up god knows how many times, and didn't have anywhere to store the wheels.

That's because the arches and sills were replaced 3 years ago, along with most other normally rotten areas since. But the rust on the floor was just getting out of control, along with the front crossmember and chassis legs starting to fall apart where they join together.

It didn't make it to any shows last year either, I couldn't afford to get the paintwork sorted (it was sprayed with rattle cans in 2005, and was all cracking and fading) and JOV needed vans to get stuff to them so I hired them. After Billing last year I just lost interest in it, and was getting annoyed by the poor cold starting and randomness of an idle. Most of my driving in it was trips across town, barely getting over 25mph due to heavy traffic, not the best conditions for a lively set-up with a steady idle only above 1000rpm.

Ahh, still got the block though! But after finally getting a 2.0l with the vectra, I have to admit to not enjoying the prospect of going back to one.

You scrapped the tailgate as well?

Both bottom outer corners were rotten, on both the outer and inner skins. I was going to sort it out a couple of years ago, but would have ended up making new corners from scratch which would have taken a good 20 hours to do.
