Top mount help on Avo's

Had my avo's refurbed, so i now need to fit top mounts etc.
Will the complete top mount off my current front suspension swap straight over? (even though my current suspension is a normal spring/shock setup)

And should the avo piston have a dust/dirt shield over it? Will the one off my old stuff fit, or will it hit the spring and not fit?

What does the shield look like?
Rubber? Or like a plastic cover???

soft rubber, not like the normal harder ones and they are smaller to fit inside the springs

Hmmm, it seems some coilovers dont have dust/dirt shields even from new.

The mojority of after market coilovers don't run 'dust' covers, my GAZ coilovers don't.
