Well seeing as i'm about to start again with the work on my nova i thought i would post a New WIP progress.

The car has undergone some changes which are in the following pics, I have also just ended up with a x16XE tigra which is going to be raped.

So thats the car upto date and before i start playing again.

Basically, and when i can be bothered the Tigra will be stripped and most of it will be going into the nova.

I will indeed mate, It has crossed my mind a few times to sell it. But its too good to be sold at the moment, as long as i keep playing with it i wont get bored of it either.

I'm just stripping some Corsa Loom down for the switches and wiring to rejoin into my nova loom. The Dash is out of the nova and i'm going to start chopping the corsa dash down for fitment tomorrow.

Softstars are being sold tomorrow in favor of some new wheels, Petrol flap is going to be smoothed. And i have the bumpers to do yet, I dont think it will be ready for Trax. And im not going to rush it...

Oh well, it was due a front end respray anyways as i had a small stone chip on the bonnet and it was annoying.

Update as from today, Flared both front arches now, they easily take 225/55/15 tyres, without a tiny bit of scrubbing SO i should easily get 195/45/ 16's on there without problem now.

It's an inch flare on both side's

I need to choose my wheels now, And then fill and paint the arches, Weld a panel over the filler cap and relocate the filler cap. I think the corsa dash might have to wait until after trax now actually...

them, I cant run the 16's as low as i want with the arches in standard form... And the wings got ****ted from hitting a pot hole anyway so i had a play with them.

the corsa dash doesnt suit the nova imo well it does apart from the clocks the round curved shape where the dials are doesnt suit the square lines of the car

i think you should maybe try chopping the square nova dial surround off the nova dash an blend it in to the corsa dash so you are using corsa dash an nova dials

I like the corsa Dash, it gives the car a more modern feel to it. So i'm going for that. I've got a lot of work to do to be honest but i cant do anything until i save up for my wheels and buy them first.

Why not run smaller rubber? I'm thinking of going to 40s as i've had to hand "pull" my front arches..

I will prob end up going for a 40 profile but, the wheels are only being used for shows anywho. We'll see how it goes tomorrow you really dont like the flared arches lol I'm still undecided to be honest.

Dash isnt too bad matey I think it might need a bit more chopping off it tho or the steering wheel need bringing out a littl bit more. I'll have a play with the welder one day this week, Just flatted one of my bumpers down so that needs an 800 and then its just the fronts to do.

I've got another 2weeks to get the bugger done and i lost my tax disc grrrrr :'(

Tiny tyres is the way, if you worried about it that much give them some strech, will miss the arch that way, and if they only for show then deffo do it.

Yes benn its going into the door shut... Thought about putting everywhere else in the boot, window etc etc but the easiest option and by far the most convient is to put it in the door shut.

Its very small tho so it should not cause any problems, Hopefully lol.

More update Pics... Arches have now been fully sorted and the wheels no longer catch at all So thats a nova running et25 wheels on its bum bum with no scrubbage :D

Its staying white, The Blue and purple powders you see are Mica Pearls in power form....

Pearls work best on a white base..... I'm going to buy 2l of Base coat white on monday a litre of clear coat and some hardner...

the powerders are added to the clear coat over the white, so it will give a Purple, blue flick when the sunlight hits hit :D....

Its also having a checked roof :D

wing mirrors are Mattig cup's custom made onto Xsara VTS base plates trimmed to fit the nova lol In case you were wondering..... again More custom one off shizzle :P

its a Mica Powder matey it goes into the clearcoat Its like glitter and Metal flake same sorta idea.
