exhaust problem

ok guys i've just bought a 2.0 8v nova but the manifold id wrecked and it's badly mated to a standard system. it looks very restricted where they meet. i want an ashley 2 1/4" system but have no idea what manifold will best mate to this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. don't laugh if it's a silly question cos it's my first nova!!!

iirc one of the flanges will have to be changed, dont know if an xe 4 branch manifold will fit or not? someone on here will be able to give you more info on it though.

Xe manifold wont fit the 8v.
Its going to be a cut and weld job, unless you have one custom made.

cheers for that adam :thumb: i knew with the small block 8v & 16v the manifolds weren't interchangeable, but wasn't sure on the big blocks.

i think i should xe the car and get rid of the 8v!!!
