Our rolling road day as finally made it in to the magazine. My copy just dropped through the door, looks good. :thumb:
oooh, mine should be here today then! Give me something new to read at work!
gonna read it in the blue and green library as per usual :D
Might have to take a nose whis weekend if its in shops by then, will save my pennies for the likes of Classic American though :D

Just bought myself a copy, tis quite a good writeup tbh, good pics too.

The Pv writeup is quite poor imo, but maybe they needed to get it into print ASAP, so kept it short-ish.

Well, we weren't in the actual showground, so I wouldnt have expected to be in the writeup either lol
To be fair, they've pretty much not mentioned any of the stands, apart from the TV one(which is hardly suprisinging with it being there own stand)
I actually think it wasn't bad. At least Barton mentioned most of the issues in his Foreword at the front of the mag. Lets hope next year is an improvement :)

on the last page of the rr, the white nova with the 3 stripes on the back quarter, what suspension is on that? it sits mint!!
ive just got off my **** and gone and got a copy. one thing i noticed is the "previous vauxhalls" bit. why didnt i just say lots of novas aswell lol. looks really bad compared to everyone else. liking the pic of my loon tho

that would be mine then...didn't go on rollers due to being run in and was due on rollers the week later...only to have compression issues!
the car sits on spax coilovers, front have had the arches raised ...ie air saw.... rears have custom springs with removed bump stops...it won't go any lower on 15's as hits inner arch.
but its too low.... fronts fine but in the wet its like a rwd car...to stiff.... and its ok on smooth roads but country roads forget it.... still fun but needs to be softer and possibly higher... softer works for now!

Well chuffed, they put a bigger photo of mine in (bottom left of page 102), and Baxter spotted its my rolling road graph on the first page too :D

They probably haven't stolen your copy as i have a subscription and got the mag every month on time every time and oneday the march issue i think they decided to miss out a line of my address and i haven't recieved it since the only reason i know this is that i got one late in may with biro scribbled all over it saying to try my actual address! :mad: :tard:

I was pleasantly surprised they managed to spell my name right (Iain not Ian) in the main section, although still managed to get it wrong in the chart at the back section. Luckily nobody reads that part. lol
