try the search option & the how to guides, General Baxter did quite a bit on that engine. turbo diesels don't make much noise any way


ps. I am not sure a wastegate is any use on a diesel, but I'm probably about to be proved wrong........

as for a wastegate/dump valve, they are a complete waste of time and money of a td

as for more noise, putting a cone type filter will make the turbo noise alot more noticable. as with anything else aswell a bigger exhaust will make it louder but the noise on full boost with a big exhaust is very cool.

id recommend not going above 22psi aswell as the heads start to fall about at about 25psi.
