Hi all,
Getting a black leather interior and am very sick of my elephant skin gray interior and want to turn it all black, I can just spray the hard plastics however I am really struggling to find a GSI dash so does any one know the best technique to dye the standard dash black.
Any help appreciated.

Though I wouldnt dye it, I've seen it done & looks good.
Just buy a good cockpit spray & follow the directions on the tin.
Or have it flocked like the rally boys do. www.getflocked.co.uk
I've used regular Plasticoat Spray Paint and its come out spot on. Remove all the bezils, and trim off the dash (if still in car) mask the life out of the A pilars, Carpetr, doors and everything other than the dash and spray away!!
Although removal from the car is the easiest with regards to spraying it.
Spray it, its piece of pish and looks wickedy bo yo :D

All good suggestions, part of me wants it flocked but on a whole Mk2 dash might be overkill and I would want buckets and a stripped interior, want leather seats so think I will spray or dye but have always thought that you could just spray a mk1 dash because the plastics rock hard but a Mk2 is softer so will crack, thats why I ask about dyeing but Mikes pic looks spot on what I want, did you have to do out special for it to get a good finish?
Any replies appreciated

Actually just spotted they do red flocking that might look alright with the leather.........ehm quite liking that in fact!
You can get special flexible vinyl paint that should be ok on the Mk2 dash. Having said that, I used normal car paint on my door cards (same surface as Mk2 dash) and its held fine. I think Mike used normal car paint to do his dash too...
