airflow meter

my mate needs an air flow meter for her 1.2 corsa and i was wondering if anyone on here could suggest anything.
is there one off a nova i could use? or just a trip down the scrappy.?

Its a 1.2 16v I take it?

1.2 Novas dont have Airflow meters as they're SPi and didnt come in MPi form.

even the MPi used MAP speed/density load sensing

the 1.6 GTE/GSI used AFMs but it was a flapper, positive displacement type and no use for what you need it for.

oh no sorry its a 1L 12V, the 3 cylinder model.

Right, well thats what you need then. Try Ebay,. they may be available on there cheap.

any part numbers?
is there any other ones that would fit? i.e off astras, other corsas like 1.4's etc?
or is it a case of i need the exact one off a 1L 12v 3 cylinder?

her next door neighbor said he could get one for £256.40 + VAT :O :O

No its just a 1.0 12v that'll have them. Dont know the part number but it should be stamped on her Air Flow Meter.

Try Ebay and see what it comes up with.
