Don't know if this has been posted here yet, but saw it on the Manta Owners Club Website:

Last night my Friend Andy had his Nova GTE stolen.

This is a tragedy as this car had only done 22k and is in truely 'mint' condition, recently winning a prize at a local show, and is original down to last nut and bolt,it was schedualed to make its debut at Billing in a fortnight.

I know its long shot but the local Vauxhall/Opel crowd are putting 'the word' out where ever we can,so if you have heard anything or know someone that has just acquired a really good Nova but are a bit cagey about where it came from let us and the Police know.

The Nova is a White GTE, REG F380UMG.

Thats such a shame, I thought the days of stealing Nova's was over

Used to be really bad round my area - One burned out every other weekend, not so much now like

Hope it turns up, back to the owner

Seen this earlier such a shame, unfortunaly most novas are an easy steal so still apeel to joy riders looking for an easy way home.

Wasn't in Ireland, I just saw it on the Manta Club website, so thought I'd post it here! I hadn't saw anything about it on here though so apologises for the repost.

I wouldnt worry about the repost, dont be sorry the more times it gets reposted the longer the search goes on.

And it really is a shame it was stolen, by the sounds of it was a true minter. Do you know how it was stolen?

in my opinion they knew what they were stealing.. doubt it would have been burnt or weighed in. more like its locked up in somones garage or lock up ready for a VIN swap...

Really hope they get caught for it,saying that they will only have to paint fences and pick up litter for a couple of hours anyway.Dods fire treatment FTW lol

No, I have a method for car thieves. Put them into the boot of a saloon car and reverse hard into a wall, quite a few times. Preferably an FWD car so when the rear collapses the front wheels will still move.
