thinking about buying a car that is quite a way from me. A friend of mine has offered to lend me his A frame and im just wondering how they work?
cheers.
You have to attach them underneath the front of the towed car, so knowing which car may help.. on a nova, it might be ok to attach to the radius arms.

car is a 205. how does the car steer?
leave the key in & the wheels usually follow ok with the self correcting geometry.
My brother had a 205 diesel & the bottom bushes were badly worn causing the wheels to toe out, & the self correcting action of the steering didn't work..... check it before towing
Yeah, the chains go around the bottom arms of the car you are towing, then ratchet them up. Leave key in ignition, and it will just follow the direction of the tow car, as mowgli says though, ensure it drives straight etc etc first.
Very handy things, I A framed a Racing Puma over 250 miles with a Terrano and could hardly notice it :)
