yeah! thats sex..
£2500 isnt as 'much' nowadays as it was 5,8 yrs ago whatever..
mk1 SR's are the models that are creeping up in value.. wont be the last youll see..
most people earn that in a couple of months wages..

I'd have my doubts about it's "mintness" without seeing detailed engine bay and chassis photos.

And the mileage isn't what id associate with a 100% mint example either.

Pending how clean it is, yes I would. Then I'd sell it over here for twice that.

I want whatever job "most" people do to have £2500 disposable income after only a couple months... If I had that kinda money spare each month I sure as heck wouldn't be buying a Nova lol

Mmm. lets see, the drivers seat is not visible, so we don't know if the cloth is worn. & anyone who is interested without a picture of the engine bay, arches, door bottoms etc, must be mad

As already been said the adverts doing it no favours needs detailed pics and for that money would need a lot of history.

I think its a fantastic colour, it has to be worth £2.5k ;).

Very dubious given the pics / lack of spec for that price!
I'm sure I've seen it on the bay before, the pics look familiar.

I know of a bog standard 14SRi that came to Donegal and sold for 3800, high miles and a smokey engine. I was offered 3k for my 36k Nova 1000cc with the sr rims and gte skirts.

I'd say 2k is a more realistic buy it now price tbh. It does look funkin mint.

It is a lot of money for a shonky old Vauxhall with next to no spec/creature comforts however if you want one like this, you wont be finfing many for sale at one given time in comparable condition.

Many people outside the scene are wise to the value of mint old Novas but not necessarily savvy with the requirement of chassis & under bonnet pics.

for that money i would expect about 20 odd photos showing in good detail the engine bay, arches, underside and chassis rails...

advert is doing it no favours. some more info and pics would help sale. it looks clean, tidy and original from pics. has one offer already. added to watch list so lets see what it goes for.

same old thing though when selling cars, its worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

I had a very clean SR running around 100 bhp mark and struggled to sell for 2100. let it go for 2000 in the end :(

This car should fell fetch 1500-1750 at a push in my books:)

Not all Nova owners/ebay users are Nova anoraks. To your average motorist those pics detail the aspects of a mint condition car.

I agree I'd want to see more pics of various areas.

Thats modified though, and generally modded cars sell for less.

Plus I'm surprised you managed to sell it even close to the advertised price, especially on PH. Most sellers factor in about 10% haggling price (PH is usually 50%), and sellers know this. TBH I would expect that £2500 SR would probably sell for around £2-2.2k
