does anyone know any common running problems for these engines? its lacking power, wont go over 5k in 5th, if you plant your foot to the floor on idle it will delay, and then rev. my mate also has the same problem with his?, checked the dissy an leads, swapped our air flow metres, il carry on trying the lickley objects but if anyone alse has had this problem i could save time lol cheers

EGR valve, Idle control valve, faulty AFM's, faulty dizzy etc even a bad earth strap on the gearbox!

My olds one was very lazy to rev. Is the timing setup properly?

coolant temp sensor aswell. common problem.

yes all sorted now had a fiddle with egnition timing and fuel pump
