Fuel Gauge.

When my car gets low on fuel my fuel gauge spins round above full and keeps going until it can't go any further, any reason why it does this lol .

Sender on the way out - the GT4 did this a while back, eventually stuck on full. Turned out the wires had fatigued and come off the level sensor.

If your senders knackered ive got one from an SR here (carb engine) was just about to bin it lol
