alarms again!

ok went in 2 my local alarm place 2day 2 c bout gettin a remote fob 4 my toad a101 alarm as i don't have 1. they said it be bout ?50 4 the fob but they reckon ill need 2 send the alarm back 2 toad 2 have it programmed 2 the new fob which they reckon could be very expensive. does ne1 no bout reprogrammin fobs 2 alarms and if this is true?

that is boll*cks you can reprogramme a fob by entering a code that is relavent to the alarm (like a pin code)
