is it possible to ditch a nova dash and keep the heater matrix, or does it use the dash to secure it in place.

The dash keeps it in place aswell as direct the air through the ducts etc.

You could maybe keep the matrix housing & screw mount it in place with brackets etc. Then arrange the ducts etc.

no it doesnt, the matrix is held in place inside the black casing with 4 mounting points

although whyd youd get rid of the dash and keep the heaters is beyond me as its kind of pointless, the dash carcass weighs funk all, all the weights in the heater matrix and associated parts

winter mainly.. trying to drive a car with no matrix in winter is missions, the cold u can get around easy with wearing more clothes.. but the front screen steams up like a mother****er and u cant see where your going. would chop the ******* out otherwise.. throw it behind the bush, baa-bwaaarpp.

Don't see much point IMO.I would either keep the whole lot and be happy. your not going to gain much from taking just the dash out.

Or whip it all out and get a heated front screen.

Thats just my thinking tho.

Best of luck

Heated windscreen would be the best bet. I believe Welsh Dan attempted a group buy a while back for one, price was around £130-140 iirc.

WTF lol
