Question about wireless network...

Having problems with my wireless network, basically every couple of minutes it just drops the signal and disc me from the network then automatically come back on 30 seconds later. Sometimes it stays on for 8 hours but other times less than a minute,

As you can imagine its fcuking annoying!

Im using a Belkin N series router and have got the network secured with WPA-2

My laptop is using Atheros 5005G adapter apprently.

I have tried ****ing about with it a little but a bit lost really!

Any ideas?

Is it ok with security (WPA or WEP) turned off?

cant remember but i dont want some waffle eating waloon stealing my network!

I was just thinking about testing it for a short time to see if it still disconnects :p

You should be able to put a mac restrict on though (so only your hardware can connect to the wireless), although thats not infallable. Having said that, neither is WPA/WEP lol

I've always found belkin wireless kit to be unreliable. I'd try a netgear or dlink.
