Thanks

I thought I had some better an more detailed pictures, might still be on my phone. Basically the ports are a fair bit out and when you take the flange off it spring out, we chopped the piping in half an took some of it out then welded it back up instead of trying to bend it all in weld it up, which would mean that when you took it back out the vice all the pipes would be wanting to spring back. That IMO would just end up cracking.

Oh an grinding it all out again after welding (we welded on the inside and outside for extra strength as well as adding supports on each port and external wastegate as can be seen) was so not fun. You will have stainless steel in your hands for weeks afterwards.

Weld it back up with stainless or it looks gypo, saying that my whole manifold is now rusty lmfao, guess thats what you get with a ebay special.

Forgot to mention about the dipstick thing, if you look at mine Ive got **** loads going on especially with wastegate. We took everything into account when making it bar the dipstick lol, luckily there is literally just enough room to get it out but its close so so close. If your just running an internal wastegate it wont be a problem at all.

Sorry fed up of reading post after post of utter uselss tos.s

If you dont know the answer to a question/have no useful input then why bother posting, seems like every post at the moment, you have to look through 3 pages to find an answer. The rest is just filled up with crap.

Thanks everyone with a useful input :thumb:

This is mine, i chopped it all up and my mate Tig welded it for me.
We chopped the flange from araound the runners rather than hack the end of them off (the easy way !), got the main flange from Chris Reay on MIG (it was to suit a 200sx manifold - he runners fitted thru the flange).
We lined up the runner on No3 cylinder then 'persuaded' runners 2 and 4 untill they lined up, runner No1 needs chopped and shortened.
Few pics ....

**before anyone says theres no 'braces' between the flanges to support it, i've got a bracket that supports the turbo, bolted thru the oil drain and then to the block**

how far forward do you have to move your rad?

tony k

i ended up cutting the little plastic legs on the rad off cos i was forever moving it around i drilled some new holes for them then i had to move it even more forward just gonna make some brackets up for it now if i drill any more i wont have a font left lol plus if your gonna go for a t34 or any bigger you might have to move it a bit more forward ive only got a t3 on mine and that was pretty close
