this is very simple really
look at other cars and see what lights you would like, then buy a free adds paper and sell your nova to someone who loves it for what it is, before another road legal car gets the angle grinder Max-Powder treatment/violations.
then take the money from the sale of the nova and buy the car with the lights that you like.

Do you mean you want totaly differnt lights from a different car? if so check out the projects im sure someones put some peugot lights on theres, its a hell of a job tho!
or do you mean you want to change mk1 > mk2? (and visa-versa)
or installing fogs?
Take the lights off. Ratlook.

The 1st reply makes sense tbh.
You will be ruining a Novas lines & styling if you add didfferent headlamps. The era of changing things for the sake of it have passed. There wasnt one badly kited Nova at PVS on the png stand & for good reason.
However two similar lamp shapes spring to mind. The early Saxo headlamp & also the mk3 POLO (I'm thinking R reg era) have the shape of headlamp/front end closely mimicking the mk2 Nova. So as an upgrade with a potentially better beam & light projection, perhaps either of those modded to fit in place of std mk2 Nova headlamps wouldn't look out of place.
the mk3 POLO (I'm thinking R reg era)
Thats mk4 ;)
Cheeze had mk4 polo lamps fitted to his kitted Nova didn't he?

I stand corrected. All I know is GM should have filed for plaguerism when those 2 cars werelaunched, the grille & headlamps/indicators is dangerously like the mk2 Nova fr end which was launched many years earlier.... lol
i did that folk, absolute pain in the ****, but i think it looked alright, the problem would be getting the bonnet shape at the front to match the polo lights.
I had a silly badboy bonnet on, before i grew up a bit lol

Those lights in the nova above look brilliant imo ! theyre pretty much the same in the shape they are but give the front a much more modern look without spoiling it, so what lights are they as i thought the polo of that era had frosted lenses, are they from the mk5 polo, the ones with the crystal plastic lenses?

If i remember correctly, they are the polo 6n2 models lights, you also get them in a hid version off the gti model,
Yeah i still think they look great on a the nova, it wasnt a mod that a lot of folk actually noticed.
Make sure you get the plug for the back of them to, and just make sure you wire them up correctly, as the are two seperate bulbs, one for dipped beam the other for high, its not a hard one to wire in.
