I think there is a guide in the mods section on http://www.novamad.co.uk[/url]
st - take a look at novamad.net however the pic you need is missing.
- prise needle over the bottom stop (that little plastic black pin thing)
- see where it comes to rest naturally
- mark a point on the edge of the dial housing to line the needles up afterwards
- take 2 tea spoons
- place a spoon either side of the centre piece like you were gonna take a scoop of pudding - wedge the end of the spoon under the centre piece
- push down gently
- the needle will ping off at 100 mph!
- hunt for needle for about an hour!
- fir new dials
- paint needle if necessary
- before replacing needle - line up gently with mark on edge (otherwise it will be out)
- when lined up - press down hard - it should click in place
- make sure when you do the same for the fuel gauge you carry a spare can of fuel with you coz theyre usually out! - mine read 1/4 full and was in fact empty - I ran out of fuel going to work!
Thats it.
