Novas didn't have electric arials from the factory, so there won't be a wire in the loom for it - you'll need to run your own from the HU.

yes use one with plastic insulation

there is no wire there to use, like jack said, you will have to find the pin out of an ISO-plug to find what pin it is and solder a wire on to your ariel.

failing that, its usually the one from the HU with REM on it and its normally a blue one with a colour of blue.

Right, ive been told by my bro (auto electrican) he thinks its green. But what wire have anyone else used?

My electric ariel has 3 wires, earth, live and signal, i just need to know which wire the signal one goes on.

the green/blue/REM/whatever wire goes to the signal on the ariel.
green is normally a speaker wire or ground.
the power will have to be a permanent (unswitched live) so that the ariel continues to retract AFTER the ign is turned off.
