View Full Version : 16v Throttle cable.
Hi Guys, Which throttle cable do you use when converting to a c20xe ? as Ive heard people seem to have different ideas on this? A part no would be great but not essential, any help appreciated, thanks.

Bearing in mind the XE cables are different lengths... Mine is a bit short. Not sure what car it came from though.

yeah, so i thought it would depend on the linkage type as to what cable he would need
Hmm, he just says "when converting to c20xe"
So assumed std xe.
For carbs, just use a normal throttle cable off ebay for about 3quid

Im unsure whats on the car at the mo... And was unsure If the cables shown in your link would fit the nova at the pedal end tbh?
Depends how your current cable is attached to the pedal.
BEst checking that first
Thanks Adam, I will do just that.
