I have considered buying a quick shift linkage for my race nova. I have seen them on ebay and in the Total Vauxhall mag for around £35.

Has anybody tried one and are they worth buying?

Yeah they work fine. However part of the issue with them is swapping the part into your existing linkage, its inevitable the white bushes will crack, so just bear that in mind.

The white bushes are not available from Vauxhall.

The white bushes you speak of are they the ones in the LMF vauxhall advert in Total Vauxhall pictured just under the gearshift shortener price list?

I believe he's refering to the white 'cups' that the ball ends of the linkage press into. Quite common to snap these as they get brittle with age.

Is it true that you cant get them anywhere?

If anyone knows different please tell.
