2.0 8v engine conversion

right i got a nova 1.4 8v sri and i want to put a 2.0 8v in it how wood i do it i have bin told all i have to do is change the ecu to the 2.0 8v one and put the 2.0 8v engine in and its done have not got to change tha loom and bit can any one tell me is that how you do it or is it worng

You will need to use the 2L 8v engine loom.
Need conversion engine mounts
22spline driveshafts with mk2 cav inner cv's
And will need to cut/weld the exhaust/downpipe.

Basically all that is involved with a 2.0 16v conversion.

If you have an engine in mind, ensure you have everything to go with it. Or simply buy a Cav SRi or Astra GTE donor car & rape it of parts....
