bosch fuel pump fitting

Has anyone fitted a bosch motorsport type fuel pump. im having difficaulty fitting mine as the bosch one has a 12mm inlet and my pipe is only 8mm. just woundered what people did

What car/tank is ist going on?

The GTE/GSi MPi tanks have a large bore (12mm likely) outlet to feed the pumps.
