My 1.2 is overdue an oil change, and I've realised I've got 3 bottles of cheap 15w40 oil, each with 1-2litres left. They're all different brands but I imagine essentially the same stuff. Can I mix them?
Cheers, Dan.
Yes, find posts from oilman on other forums.

...who will try to sell you expensive silkolene or millers oil when tbh cheapo stuff will do lol
If you mix say 15w 40 and 10w 40 will that cause any problems??
No, it'l average out at 12.5w 40 so it should be ok. Just dont add Oil of Olay. The name is pretty decieving.

And also bombard you with oil spam that is direct from the brands he stocks as opposed to JUSTIFIED reasoning to not use cheap/other brand oil lol

you should stick to the one oil grade, if you put 15w 40 in, then top it up with 15w 40, dont be using other grades
