Inside a V8 Engine at idle speed
found this video pretty good
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/I...-at_547763.htm would i be right in saying that the pistons in a four cylinder engine would go double that speed on idle, becuase half the amound of pistons are used to turn the crankshaft? |

no, the rpm is the same no matter how many pistons, as its the revolutions of the crank. not the pistons.
