And the bonnet was held on by four bonnet pins, one in each corner, to open the bonnet you had to take it off iirc, the lad bought it for a few hundred quid as it didnt run properly, busted vac advance in the dizzy fixed it, he swapped it over on the back of the flatbed he picked it up on and drove it home

This is owned by a chap called Chris North from malton he built that car up from a shell himself so I doubt its the same car?........ Its been around some years now and is as far as Im aware its still an xe on dellorto's. Saying that things may have changed as its been a few years since I was last talking to him.

What a great thread oldschool man they were the years found a few pics of my old nova 1.6 turbo i remember my girlfriend at the time surprised me with a birthday pres ie the front bumper i was so made up was so in the fashion i spent loads on that nova one of paint etc full shell rebuild loads of chrome wonder if its still around

i last saw that at donny show in 2007 was still owned by the same bloke and on dellortos remeber it because its the only time i went to the show at donnington and thats only becasue i had free tickets from tv as my feature shoot had just been done

as nick said same bloke has owned it for years

used to be in the vpcc when it existed good times
