not much has gone on since last time, engine has gone and now fuel tank and old exhaust has also gone.

been shopping though, a nice new cobra race seat supporting 5 point harness, shocks for front and rear. new 15inch steering wheel with boss for quick release.

over weekend just gone i had washed inside n out and installed rear suspension, just waiting on front springs to arrive so i can put in the front shocks!!!!

    it's slowly getting there

been a while since a update,

engine is a single point but is ok, not allowed to run oen so picked up a 1.2 carbed lump for 70 notes, minius gearbox which isn't bad as i've got a few of them.

roll cage has been done and welded in now

welds have gone rusty as it was outside over night and it rained very hard!!!!

    from the front looking back

    passenger side

    looking into car from bonnet

rolled out drivers side door bar

i've taken wings and bumper off and now rubbed down the rust spots in the engine bay ready for treating.

lots to go and not much time to do it!!!!!

now i'm working on it most nights alot more updates to come

well a year later and i can't safely say it's not got very far!!!!!

having a g/f and racing bangers = not much time, it got pushed to the corner and forgotton about, now the missus has gone and the bangers have stopped for a while, the project has restarted!!!!

with a new garage to work out of and lots more room it's all good.

sunday - had a day of playing about, cleared all the crap out and had a tidy up, started to cut passenger door out.

Monday - took doors off, tidyed up drivers side and cut passenger side out.

tues - took boot off, finished cutting the lip on the firewall.

will take some photos thurs, forgot my camera and garage isn't near where i live!!!!

hopeing to be done by xmas, all built, painted and sorted ready for some action early next year.

will be working every night / weekends so lots of updates to come.
